About the role
We're looking for a Growth & Partnerships Manager to help grow We Dey Outside by building meaningful relationships with event organizers, experience hosts, brands, venues, creators, communities, and strategic partners.
You'll play a key role in increasing the number of events and experiences on our platform while helping more people discover, book, and engage with them. This role combines business development, partnerships, marketing, and community growth.
Responsibilities
• Identify and onboard new event organizers, experience hosts, and venue partners.
• Build and manage relationships with brands, creators, communities, and strategic partners.
• Develop partnership campaigns that drive bookings, platform awareness, and user growth.
• Pitch We Dey Outside's products and services to potential partners.
• Manage partner onboarding and ensure a smooth experience.
• Collaborate with the marketing and production teams on campaigns and activations.
• Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
• Represent We Dey Outside at industry events, networking sessions, and community gatherings.
• Track partnership performance and prepare monthly growth reports.
• Work closely with the product team to communicate partner feedback and opportunities.
Requirements
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in partnerships, business development, sales, marketing, or account management.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Comfortable meeting new people and building long-term relationships.
• Passion for culture, events, media, and the creative industry.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and productivity software is an advantage.
Nice to have
• Experience working with events, hospitality, tourism, entertainment, or media.
• Existing network within Ghana's creative ecosystem.
• Experience managing partnership campaigns.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Success in this role
Within your first 6–12 months, you'll aim to:
• Onboard new event organizers and experience hosts to the platform.
• Secure partnerships with brands, venues, creators, and community organizations.
• Increase the number of bookings generated through partnership initiatives.
• Launch referral, ambassador, or community growth programs.
• Build a repeatable partnership pipeline that contributes to WDO's long-term growth.
• Help establish Wedeyoutside as the go-to platform for discovering events and experiences.
